So, who are The Bold?

The Bold is my band!

When I play with a band, I bring in a rotating cast of awesome musicians, mostly from the Jersey Shore area. We play everything from rock to jazz, R&B to country, and even a little disco, kind of like my very eclectic solo sets.

Mike Flynn has been entertaining audiences throughout the US for the past 40 years. He started at the Folk Mass while attending grammar school and has been performing ever since. Blending early Piedmont Blues, R&B, Reggae, and Funk, Mike has developed a unique style of his own. Whether touring the country or jamming at a backyard BBQ, Mike brings the same passion for live music to the listener.

Erez Lirov, pianist, trumpeter, and singer, has been performing jazz tunes all over the Jersey Shore, Minneapolis, Tampa Bay area, Las Vegas, Manila, Yerevan, Tel-Aviv, and in other cities across the world. Erez's subtle piano playing leaves plenty of space for creative melodies and interplay with other instruments, and his lyrical trumpet playing and smooth singing on jazz swing tunes, bossa novas, and ballads is reminiscent of Chet Baker.
